This was a very interesting first day of the 45th anniversary show. The most dominant faction on this show has to be Suzuki Gun after winning the IWGP Junior Tag Team Championship and then ZSJ joining them and he brings three titles with him, RPW British Heavyweight Championship, PWG Heavyweight Championship and Evolve Heavyweight Championship. Of course another entertaining display from Bullet Club and Los Ingobernables de Japon had a good night with The Ticking Time Bomb retaining his title and the rest of the group being successful in a multi man tag match and the third title to change hands on this first night.

Maybe not as exciting as the first day but still had some excellent matches this was more of a build towards the New Japan Cup that is coming soon as many people who will be facing off in the first round clashed on this show.

Overall another fantastic show by NJPW everyone should be so proud that this company has continued to produce such excellence over the last 45 years let’s hope the next 45 are even more successful.
